Sunday Services and Private Prayer

Join us on YouTube

The Sunday online (YouTube) service starts at 10.30am, but why not join us from 10.15 so that you can greet other members of the congregation via YouTube Live Chat and hear some wonderful organ playing! The online service is also available to catch up later. Links to the recorded Sunday service on YouTube and the order of service are added a day in advance.

'In person' services at St Olave's will recommence on Maundy Thursday, 1st April. The 9am Sunday service at St Olave's will be reinstated from Easter Day (Sunday 4 April). Now that many of our congregation have received vaccinations, we hope that some people who have not been able to attend worship all year will now feel able to return.

When you arrive at church you will find hand sanitiser at the door and are requested to either sign in with the Test and Trace App or leave your details on a list of attendees. We aim to keep every household socially distanced from every other household by 2 metres. In order to do this, we ask you to go straight to one of the available seats and remain there. Unless you are exempt, please wear a face covering. At the end of the service we ask the whole congregation to leave the building promptly. Gathering for a chat at the back of church will have to wait a while longer. However, you will be able to gather outside in groups of 6 or fewer. Thank you for your understanding and support.

A new curate is joining the team this year

I am delighted to announce that we will be welcoming Nicky Gladstone to the City Centre Churches team as a self-supporting part-time training curate. You may recognise Nicky from her current role as manager of Carecent. Nicky will be ordained deacon at the Minster in June. Further details to follow.
